Dr. Sérgio Daniel Simon - President

Graduated and has a doctorate degree in Medicine at USP, managed to get a internship and residency at the Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center (USA) and participated in the specialization program in Clinical Oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (USA). He is currently an oncologist at Albert Einstein Hospital, President of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology (SBOC), Director of the Paulista Oncology Center (CPO) and CEO of the Brazilian Breast Cancer Clinical Trials Group (GBECAM).

Dr. Silvio Eduardo Bromberg

PhD in Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (USP) and postdoctoral fellow in Mastology from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). He specialized in Mastology at the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Italy. He is an affiliated professor in the discipline of Mastology at the Paulista School of Medicine - UNIFESP. Mastologist of the Oncology Center of Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Dr. Sidnei Epelman

Director of the Department of Pediatric Oncology at Hospital Santa Marcelina and coordinator of cooperative groups for the treatment of brain tumors of Soc. Bras. of Pediatric Oncology (SOBOPE). Founder and President of Assoc. for Children and Adolescents with Cancer (TUCCA) and President of the International Network to Treatment and Cancer Research in Latin America (INCTR). He works in fisheries management clinics in Pediatric Oncology and Palliative Care with the World Health Organization (WHO). He is a member of the Board of Directors of Hadassah International in Brazil and Director of the Department of Oncology of Hospital Children Sabara.

Dr. Otto Metzger Filho

Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Dr. Otto has specialized in Breast Cancer at the Institut Jules Bordet in Brussels, Belgium. Oncologist in Boston, United States, at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute honed at Harvard Medical School. He has a number of scientific articles published in international medical journals.

Dra. Renata Macchione

Although she graduated in Veterinary Medicine from USP, her passion was medicine. Taking advantage of her moving to Rio, Renata graduated in medicine at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and specialized in obstetrical gynecology at UFRJ. Married, mother of two, was diagnosed with breast cancer at only 37 years. Today, along with her return to the city of São Paulo, she joins the Scientific Council to interface with our Hospital Partners, joining her profession to the practical experience of how to fight against this disease.

Dr. Gustavo Schvartsman

He holds a Clinical Fellowship and Clinical Oncology degree from MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. In addition, he also holds a PhD in Medicine and a Residency in Clinical Medicine from Escola Paulista de Medicina - Federal University of São Paulo. He is currently a Clinical Oncologist at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and coordinator of the Oncology Cell Therapy program at the hospital. Furthermore he holds a doctorate in immunotherapy and is the first author of numerous scientific articles published in international journals of high impact.
